Azovstal. A steel fortress for Ukrainian defenders and civilians 🇺🇦 Mariupol endured 86 days of siege from February to May 2022. As Russian bombs fell, thousands of civilians and soldiers took shelter in the Azovstal plant. Families, children, medics and soldiers stood together, side by side, resisting Russia's terror. They were bound not only by the walls of Azovstal, but also by their shared will to survive, protect each other, and hold onto their humanity in the face of Russia's cruelty. Az
