The Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo) has been allocated the sum of $3 billion for its recapitalization. This recapitalization, according to Minister of Agriculture Zulfikar Mustapha, is to allow for the reopening of sugar estates. | News Room

After a dismal year of production at the Guyana Sugar Corporation (GuySuCo), a strong emphasis has been placed on ensuring that the body can meet its targets next year. Already though, Agriculture Minister Zulfikar Mustapha said some managers at various estates may be moved around while others may be relieved of their duties.
